We live WAYYYYYYY out in the place I think you referenced on your blog where the people come from to sell naan. ;) I loved your blog by the way. I called Doug over and we just felt right at home... every picture seemed to sum up our time there.

Anyway, yes, we're hoping to return. The date for that return keeps looking further and further out. Right now, Doug has what we think will be a final appointment on May 24th, so we're just waiting for that appointment, and then hopefully within a few weeks we'll be OK'd to fully return, and so we'll get our plane tickets, get our visas, and get outta dodge.

Thanks for asking!Jess Connellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00372282510182101716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32444916.post-45680372900569501702007-05-05T02:51:00.000-05:002007-05-05T02:51:00.000-05:00Jess,I found you blog from a link on Frugal Upstat...Jess,
I found you blog from a link on Frugal Upstate. :-) I was intrigued that your home is Central Asia. Our situation was, of course, completely different, but as the Lord walked us thru some very deep waters just a year ago, we came to *love* suffering. Odd, but true. We realized that God is most glorified when our joy and peace in Him make the least sense. Thanks for the reminder.

I'm praying for you and your family. My favorite passages during the tough times: Psalm 103, and Psalm 119:65-72. God is good and He does good. Hold on tightly to Him - He *cannot* fail you.Martinsburg Church of Bruinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14739142091615263825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32444916.post-64650717584067716392007-04-29T21:03:00.000-05:002007-04-29T21:03:00.000-05:00Thanks for this post, which was a help to me in an...Thanks for this post, which was a help to me in an entirely different sort of suffering. It's hard to make the best of suffering - thanks for the reminders. They’ve spent 10 years in the Middle East, and people don’t understand their desire to go back.

God has captured your hearts – and He alone knows your future. I’m praying for peace amidst the storm, and that in the center of those who doubt and say things out of misunderstanding and a lack of faith – you will hear Abba’s voice through it all.

Thanks, Grace!Jess Connellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00372282510182101716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32444916.post-38326961775990297472007-04-29T14:27:00.000-05:002007-04-29T14:27:00.000-05:00AMEN!AMEN!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
